Introduction
For some time now I wanted to create a personal blog where I would write about all my hobbies, interests and whatever comes in mind. Since I am not a developer and have no idea how to write any kind of code I chose to created a WordPress blog with GeneratePress. I wanted something minimal and extremely fast. I managed to make the blog score 100 in pagespeed insights, which was great. The problem is that I didn’t like the whole structure of a blog. This is when I came across Astro framework (ChatGPT pointed me to static generated sites for fast blogs). From this point I started exploring how I could build a knowledge base and of course Starlight was the answer. Setting everything up was really hard for a non-developer, especially the part that I had to write in markdown through GitHub codespace. After trying many CMS to simplify the posting process I came across Obsidian and starlight-obsidian plugin.
